Day Star Program

DayStar Native Outreach is an organization based out of Wikwemikong First Nation while providing summer programs in 18 other First Nation Communities including Thessalon First Nation. Their desire is to see light and hope come into the lives of the First Nation People that DayStar serves. Their purpose is to see First Nation leaders raised up to show the people in their communities that there is a God who loves them personally, deeply and passionately.

The Day Star program at Thessalon First Nation is filled with crafts, games, dramas, special events and bible teaching. They also do Lady’s Tea, crafts, and other activities within the community. The team that comes to TFN is from Hamilton and now has a permanent DayStar Staff at TFN.
